of aviators and train them up to be the best pilots they can be. My flight instructors have poured so much of their time and energy into me, so I want to give back and do the same for other aspiring pilots. Being a flight instructor will allow me to gain invaluable teaching experience, deepen my knowledge of aviation, and pass on what I have learned to my students.”

Brian Borders, training at Superior Flight School in Atlanta, Georgia, has an inspiring story of perseverance. After earning his private pilot license in 2007, he paused his aviation journey due to economic challenges and personal loss. Reinvigorated in 2023 after a visit to Washington, D.C., Brian resumed his training, earning his Instrument Rating and completing the 120-hour Commercial Course.
